Overview of CEX IO
CEX.IO allows you to buy bitcoins at low fees with a credit card. Customers can also make purchases for free using a bank transfer.

Registration on the CEX.IO exchange
Go to CEX.IO , click the “Create Account” button and follow these steps:
Fill in the details and click “Continue” (Next).
You will be sent a confirmation link by email. Open the email and either click “Verify” or copy the code below and return to the CEX.io page to paste the code. Once your email address has been verified, click “Continue” to confirm, you will be prompted for a phone number. Click “Confirm” and select “SMS” or “Call”.
NOTE. If the code has not been sent within 30 seconds, click “SMS / Call not Received” to request a new code.

The last step to create an account is identity verification.
Verification CEX IO
On an unverified account, your limits are zero. And we should raise them to normal limits. Fortunately, this is done in minutes. Click Increase Limit
Press the START button .
Click “Identity Verification” and select the type of document. You can then choose to upload photos using your mobile phone or through a form on the website.
Follow the instructions to attach photos of the front of your passport and a selfie of you holding your ID.

Verification of your ID may take up to 30 minutes. Once this is done, you will receive a confirmation email.

Buying cryptocurrencies on the CEX IO exchange
The exchange has a very user-friendly interface. Even if you have no experience using a cryptocurrency exchange platform, it will be very easy for you to figure it out.

Go to the “Buy / Sell” section and select the cryptocurrency you want to buy. Set the amount in your preferred fiat currency (US dollars, euros, pounds sterling or rubles – minimum 20 US dollars). Review the options and click Buy. You can either leave the purchased cryptocurrency on your CEX.IO balance, or immediately withdraw it to an external wallet. In addition, you can buy cryptocurrencies by placing a limit or market order.
Limits and commissions
Deposits
Users pay a 2.99% commission on all card deposits. Bank transfers (US dollars, euros or pounds sterling) are free, although there may be a waiting period of up to 2 business days.
Withdrawals
Withdrawals via wire transfer are subject to a fee of 0.3% plus $25 for SWIFT. However, Volet, ACH, SEPA or Faster Payments are free.
Visa/MasterCard withdrawals cost 3% + $1.20 and 1.8% + $1.20 respectively. These payment methods have a maximum fee of $3.80.
Trading commission
The fee is usually tied to the user’s 30-day trading volume and starts at 0.25% for takers and 0.16% for makers. The fee can then drop to 0.10% for takers and 0.00% for makers as the trader’s volume increases.
